One of the biggest news to come out of 2022 was when adidas announced that they will be cutting ties with Kanye West, following several anti-semitic remarks made by the artist. Soon after, it was revealed that adidas owns the copyright to several Yeezy models, and that they’ll be moving forward with designs without Kanye.
In addition to the Yeezy 500, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is reportedly said to be making a return this year. adidas has yet to confirm any details, but this unreleased colorway could be the first to release in 2023.
The shoe features a shades of Grey covering its entire Primeknit build with a darker shade used on the transparent stripe overlay atop a semi-translucent full-length Boost cushioning underfoot. The official release will remove any “Yeezy” branding, which will result in an entirely new insole and packaging.
