Dressed in a Black, Voltage Purple, and White color scheme. This offering of the Nike SB Dunk Low comes equipped with callouts to the venue located at 701 First Avenue North. It features Black brickwork on the quarter overlays nodding to the building’s painted brick exterior while having a star perforated toe box resembling the 500 stars commemorating past venue performers covering the building. Other details includes 3M reflective Swooshes and heels, wear-away uppers that fades to Purple to match the laces paying tribute to the venue’s most famous performer Prince, who was born in Minneapolis. Finishing off the design are special co-branded insoles that features the venue’s famous checkerboard floor, and showcases the ticket to their first live show on April 3rd, 1970.
While the pair was originally set to release in 2020 in celebration of the venue’s 50th Anniversary, it now looks like the Familia x Nike SB Dunk Low “First Avenue” could be on track to launch later in 2021. Stay tuned for more updates.
